The ITM is a national network of organisations and individuals working within the Traveller community. It consists of a partnership between Travellers and settled people committed to seeking full equality for Travellers in Irish society. This partnership is reflected in all the structures of ITM.
- is a community based Information and Support service set up in response to the escalation of domestic violence in the area. Tearmann is an Irish word meaning Sanctuary. Tearmann believe that domestic abuse is a serious crime against women. Its presence has been continually disbelieved and ignored in our society. They provide information and support to women, but never impose their own solutions on them. They believe the crime of domestic abuse crosses all social boundaries and that any woman can be a victim. Therefore, the organisation is non-sectarian and non-racist regardless of class, creed, sexual orientation or physical ability. You do not need to do this alone.
- Youth Education Training Initiative,(Y.E.T.I), is a Personal Youth Development Programme, funded by the International Fund for Ireland (IFI) and operated and managed by Foróige, in association with local community, statutory and voluntary organisations.
The Y.E.T.I. is designed to help young people aged between 16-25 years of age to build and develop life skills that foster good relations, build confidence and resilience and enhance their employability skills. The young people participate in a range of programmes that are individualised to meet their developmental and educational needs. All of the participants are engaging in educational and personal development programmes ranging from taster to part-time and full-time programmes and courses.
